01 / SELECTED WORK

The story behind the solution.

A closer look at infrastructure, change, and the people each project supports. Project accounts are drawn from my work history; employer names and sensitive operational details are omitted.

02BUSINESS CONTINUITYMaking recovery a practiced capability

Challenge

A regulated financial organization needed a documented, tested approach to keeping critical operations available during a disruption.

My Role

Developed business continuity and disaster recovery plans, established an off-site recovery location for backups, and tested readiness through annual scenarios, tabletop exercises, and backup-data tests.

Technologies

Onsite and off-site backups · Colocation recovery infrastructure · Recovery procedures · Tabletop exercises

Result

Recovery planning met regulatory requirements and gave teams a repeatable way to rehearse their response and validate recovery procedures.

03PROJECT DELIVERYTechnology ready when the doors open

Challenge

Two new buildings needed complete technology environments coordinated with construction, facilities, and business requirements.

My Role

Worked with stakeholders, vendors, contractors, architects, and builders to design network and electrical drops, cabling routes, rack placement, infrastructure, and endpoints.

Technologies

Structured cabling · Network infrastructure · Server racks · Endpoints · Facility technology planning

Result

Staff could move into the new facilities and begin business operations with the technology environment in place.

04USER ENABLEMENTTaking essential tools into the field

Challenge

Engineering and fleet staff needed access to project information and service systems where the work happened, including job sites and equipment outside the shop.

My Role

Equipped engineering staff with tablets and GIS access, deployed tablets for fleet service work, and installed wireless access points for shop connectivity.

Technologies

Mobile tablets · GIS applications · Fleet service systems · Wireless access points

Result

Field teams could use project and service information at the point of work, including when heavy equipment could not return to the shop.

02 / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Depth in the systems.
Perspective across the business.

My work spans the infrastructure itself, the applications it supports, and the users who rely on both.

  • Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policy
  • VMware ESXi, virtualization, VDI & SAN
  • VLANs, DNS, DHCP & wireless
02 / WORKPLACE

Cloud & endpoints

Connecting people to current tools with consistent management and support.

  • Microsoft 365, Azure & Entra
  • Intune, PDQ & LANDesk
  • Cloud migrations, VoIP & mobile devices
03 / OPERATIONS

Continuity & delivery

Keeping services supportable through change, recovery planning, and knowledge sharing.

  • Backup & disaster recovery
  • ERP, GIS, SQL & clinical systems support
  • Vendor coordination, documentation & training

03 / HOW I WORK

Good IT starts
with listening.

The technical solution matters. So does understanding the work it needs to make possible.

My experience has brought me alongside field crews, clinical teams, business leaders, vendors, and project partners. That range shapes the way I approach technology and leadership.

01

Start with the operational need.

Understand who depends on a service and what they need to accomplish before choosing the solution.

02

Own the path from plan to handoff.

Connect design and implementation with documentation, training, and the support needed after launch.

03

Prepare for the difficult day.

Treat backup validation, recovery exercises, and clear procedures as part of running reliable services.

04

Make change understandable.

Work closely with stakeholders and vendors, explain practical tradeoffs, and help users feel prepared.

04 / CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

A career built close to the work.

Three perspectives that inform how I lead projects and support organizations today. Full employment details and qualifications are in my resume.
